Questions before I buy

I have a few questions about Raduga.

1. Is it possible to use Raduga to schedule commands to the serial port to control an external rs232 audio switcher?

2. Is it possible to make Raduga switch between different "live" sources by using a soundcard with multiple inputs?

3. The Raduga.net website has been down for some time. How would I go about buying Raduga in the U.S.?

Basically I'm needing Raduga to be able to swtich between 4 different "live" sources. has anybody made this work? Thanks for the help.

The Raduga US Site is back up after some site host problems.

You can probably acheive the switching you desire by using an external switcher. Contact BSW to see what they have available.

Well, I doubt I'll be contacting BSW since I'm in the equipment business (www.rfspec.com). What I need to know is can Raduga control an external switcher (such as a Broadcast Tools SS4.2)?

Yes, you can control external devices through the serial port. I will send you the required COMM.DLL package, that allows you to send command strings to the serial port using JScript. The package includes example scripts for the Broadcast Tools 8x2 switcher. But you can easily adopt them for other systems.

I do switching here between two inputs one via satellite and the other is taken off air...

I have a very simple circuit the main things are opto coupler and a relay for a fail safe setup the routines are from java script which Wolf sent me...

It is simple as I am only a radio ham.
