Scripts Dont Work!

I have been trying for many weeks now to get the ftpupload script working.

When ever i click on the install.js or uninstall.js files they dont seem to work. Usually (in the beginning of installing these files, when i was trying to configure the script) a small grey pop up box displays saying install? then it says have you read the text file... etc -

but now, for some reason i dont get this pop up box... i double click the install files and nothing happens.... why is this? can anyone help!

as i am still trying to get the ftpupload script to work. I am unable to gain remote assistance as the school network doesnt allow it - so this forum is my best option!!!

Please help!!!
