Has anybody got a workaround to enlarge the bottom toolbar icons. We use break and play and some older people have problems locating the mouse pointer on the buttons let alone see them. It leads to on-air stuff ups. Thanks.
Here's what you can do to get larger buttons: * right-click inside the toolbar area * choose "Customize..." * move the mouse to the lower left area of the dialog * select "Show text labels" from the drop-down box
Thanks so much for your useful tips. I now have the BREAK and PLAY icons enlarged. All other icons have been removed except for NEXT TRACK. In Windows XP, I find if I remove the NEXT TRACK icon it will not auto-play, i.e. queue the next track in the playlist, although it does it in Windows 7. We are using Raduga in a community radio station and simplicity in operation reduces errors. We have 3 licences overall. If I was able to make the BREAK and PLAY symbols and buttons about twice their current size I would be happier again. Our policy whilst on-air broadcasting is to use the mouse and not the keyboard or a combination thereof.
Tested this on WIN7 Pro, working for me. The buttons are greyed until you load some items in the playlist. Tony, can you please take a screenshot of the display when you noticed that all buttons have been removed and send it to me. Thanks chris
Hope the screenshots are good enough for you to see (sent by email). I have moved the play mode selection panel and clock so that it hides the NEXT TRACK icon. The slide control is now on the same line. Everything is simpler and clearer especially to new presenters by removing all the buttons of no use on the bottom toolbar. The timeclock is positioned under the schedule to make it easier to do time comparisons to judge whether or not to go to a break.. We donât like presenters breaking when an item is scheduled to run because they donât press the schedule PLAY button (ie they use the bottom toolbar PLAY button by mistake) and ads are lost. Note, we are using the XP platform on most of our computers. The screenshots are on an XP computer.
It should be noted that the buttons that were removed from the bottom toolbar was done so deliberately. I have just bought a second hand XP computer to avoid the windows 7 platform. The buttons dont have a colour highlight in Windows 7 as it does in XP, apart from other functionality issues
