Skip scheduled events from backing up

Occassionaly we play a 30 minute long mp3. During the 30 minute several scheduled events get queued up, for example our radio promo annoucements. At the end of the 30 minute program, all sceduled events play back-to-back-to-back which sounds a little funny. Can a special charater be put in the filename to skip over non-live scheduled events? For example, longsong~0^.mp3. ~0 will not fade the song and caret will purge any overdue scheduled event. Of course, live events should kick in forcefully as usual.

Re: Skip scheduled events from backing up

A ".play" event will skip all subsequent other queued-up events. You can add a new scheduled event one second after the 30-minutes track and enter ".play" as file name. Place both events before all other scheduled events to make sure that no other event will be queued up before ".play".

As an alternative method you could disable all events by loading an empty events.ini file before the long track and re-loading the original events after it. These two .ini files can be included in the playlist.

Yet another method is to disable and enable scheduled events with script items in the playlist. The scripts DisableEvents.vbs and EnableEvents.vbs are included in the Raduga SDK.

Re: Skip scheduled events from backing up

Please in the next version of Raduga a way to correct this, IE an auto cancel event if not played by a certain time, also a way to schedule an ini change from the scheduled events
