Annouce Time Plugin

Is there a plugin that would digitally annouce the time (preferably in female voice) as a scheduled event? Obviously, I can't prerecord the time statically as the actual play time will fluctuate as events get queued up.

Yes, the Raduga SDK contains an example add-in for time announcements. It uses a computer-generated voice. The default voice on Windows XP is "Microsoft Sam".

The Microsoft Speech SDK 5.1 contains 2 additional voices. You will need it to enable speech on Windows 2000. The Speech SDK is found here:

By the way, you can use the Raduga SDK with all Raduga editions (version 3.5 or 3.6). The Professional edition adds one year special suport for developers. The Raduga SDK is found on the Raduga download page.

Re: Annouce Time Plugin

I just schedulled 24's .bat/.pif files (one per hour ) and 5 (one per o'clock and four per minute one to four) in Windows Task Manager to copy corresponding hour and minute audio files to general hour and minute ones. Then, I schedulled general hour and minute files in Raduga event manager. That's all!
