Computer losing time

When running RAuga an extended time on my computer it loses time. Sometimes in a week as much as 30 minutes. Rebooting the system will correct this.. This happens on all the computers I have tried this on, 400 mhz, 700 mhz and the new 1.3GHZ I am using now. Has this bug been fixed in Raduga 3.5? I'm running Raduga 3.1.2 with Windows ME and also on XP home,, both exhibiting this problem

Also will 3.5 schedule different playlists?

I want to run Rock during the day and classic rock at night,, etc.. I don't want to do this through mini playlists, I didn't like this method..

Re: Computer losing time

Raduga does definitely not change the system time. But since it runs with hight priority (for smooth audio) the Windows software clock may occasionally loose some notification events. In this case you can run a time syncronization software (like Dimension 4) to syncronize your computer time with an atomic clock. On Windows 2000 you will not have such problems.

Yes, with Raduga 3.5 you can change playlists on schedule. This is also possible with Raduga 3.1.

Re: Computer losing time

You say this, but how can I switch playlists automatically in 3.1 without using mini playlists? I don't want to use mini playlists for the music because you lose the live interaction with what is on the air during that mini playlist

Re: Computer losing time

I don't want to use Windows 2000. This isn't occasional it happens every week. So what you are saying is Raduga is only compatible with Windows 2000? I don't want to run a program to update the ti,me with a syncro program as this would require a connection to the net. This is not a realistic solution where I am installing

Re: Computer losing time

Leo,
I am using a playlist generator and event schedular call Natural Music 5. This program will allow you to program any hour with any music you wish... Plus this program has other options for scheduling PSA, Commercials, Time delay.... You name it; it has it! Try them out... You can download a trial version to try at www.nat-soft.com.. I highly recommend it.. I am currently using it to operate a college station 24 hours a day, 365 days a year..

Good Luck

Scheduling playlists

You can schedule playlists simply by choosing playlist files (*.alb) instead of sound files in the event scheduler. When the event fires, the current playlist is replaced by the new playlist and playback starts with the first track. But when you are in Shuffle mode, the playlist is automatically shuffled before the 1st track starts playing.

RADUGA 3.5 CRASHES

OK, I TRIED ADDING THE .ALB FILE TO THE SCHEDULER. WHEN IT TRIES TO RUN THAT .ALB IT CRASHES COMPLETLY. LIKE SOMEONE SHUT DOWN RADUGA

Re: Computer losing time

IT APPEARS THAT THIS ONLY HAPPENS WHEN THERE IS AN ERROR IN THE UPCOMING PLAYLIST, SUCH AS A MISSING SONG OR A FILE IT DOESN'T UNDERSTAND. I HAVE IGNORE ERRORS CHECKED ON.

Re: Computer losing time

I can't reproduce such crashes, even with bad files in the playlist. Could you please provide all details using the bug report form and send me the playlist file, log file and exported scheduled events from the last hour before the crash?
