How do you usually schedulle commercial ads?

I agree. It is time for an external traffic program, much like we have stationplaylist or airlist, we need a traffic program that could update events lists daily and design complex commercial schedules. (Including time and date to run and stop ads, times of day, and days of the week.)

I don't think it would be hard to design this program. It could work seamlessly with raduga. Please help.

The traffic software offered at studiomixx.com looks like it might do a reasonable job of handling scheduling tasks - but the English is terrible!

If you have some questions about Traffic manager please let me know.

1. In "COMMERCIAL BREACKS" you mast create "Breack name" (it must be the same with this added in the raduga events list)
2. Set the file extention (Ex. ".mpl")
3. Now you can add commercials or jingles and you can select the playlist and dates where thay will be added.

Hey, that's not a Traffic software feature. I do exactly the same within any playlist editor. Actually, this is other good reason to integrate WMP to Raduga. I personally do exactly what you proposed using WMP.

A Traffic software should auto generate commercial break content or distribution according to several very advanced criteria.

For example,

- number of times
- priorities
- rotations
- time block costs
- etc

Even, it should update Raduga event schedule automatically.

Dear Jorge,
Traffic manager generate mini playlists for each day and shedule the commercials. You not need to update Raduga events. Just add in Raduga events for example 4 events for hour when you want make commercial breacks. After that enter the same name in Traffic manager and when you add commercial or jingle they will be put in into mini playlists for the entered date. You can set the priority, date, time etc.
