Re: Random Events
Wolfgang, Some time ago, you wrote: "In Raduga 3.8 you can schedule random files by specifying a directory name followed by ".dir" in the file name box, for example "c:\Music\MP3\Clips.dir"." Well, now that I finally have 3.8.5 installed, I tried the above, but I'm not so sure I understood your directions. First I tried to name a directory "Language Clips.dir". That didn't work because when you're creating a Scheduled Event, you have to point to a file name or it won't accept the entry. Then I tried to put a file called "Language Clips.dir" in that directory. I was then able to schedule an event with that file, but Raduga skipped right over it when the event came up. What am I doing wrong? My goal is to, at a scheduled time, go to the Language Clips directory and have the program pick a file from there at random and play it. I want to be able to schedule this as an Event and not part of the Master Playlist.
