SuperEdi "Nearly crashing" - just me?

Have any other users run into the curious scenario that sometimes happens on opening a file, whereupon the SuperEdi display "blanks out" as if it is (or is going to be) "Not Responding" ?

It may just happen when SuperEdi has been running for some time as I normally leave the windows open at the end of a day so that I can remember where I was when I get back to it in the morning.

SuperEdi still allows me to save the changes to each file, as the tab wih the filename reappears when I move the mouse back over that area of the SuperEdi Window. It even allowed me to Ctrl+A, Ctrl+C in an unnamed document window and paste that text into a Notepad window (even though I couldn't see it). The programme then also allows me to close it down neatly and start it up again as if nothing happenned.

I'm on Windows Vista SP1 and moved to SuperEdi after my previous favourite kept crashing. I'm wondering whether or not it is something I am doing.
FYI: My previous favourite hasn't been maintained since Feb. 1999, so I knew it was a matter of time and/or a Windows update..

I edit .sql files a lot and have made some changes to syntax\SQL.syn - adding several things to the FunctionList section.

Any tips appreciated,

Thanks.
Tim
