There was a problem sending the command to the program

Running Windows 7 x64. When I use the "Edit with SuperEdi" context menu option, I get an error dialog with the file path in the title and the message text "There was a problem sending the command to the program." SuperEdi opens, but to a blank document.

I've tried "Run as Administrator" and setting compatibility for XP SP3.

I've searched the forum, but couldn't find anything that looked relevant. Thank in advance.

This has never happened to me when using SuperEdi with Windows 7 64-bit.

I'm not sure of what you mean when you say you
tried "Run as Administrator" and setting compatibility for XP SP3. What are you trying that on?

The executable.

Right-click - Properties | Compatibility tab

checkbox - "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" + drop-down option "Windows XP (Service Pack 3)

"Priviledge Level": checkbox - "Run this program as an administrator"
