Help files won't open

Wolfgang,

Have you had an opportunity to research why the Help files won't open in your beta version 3.2.9 (for Windows 98)? See my previous thread, "File Association."

The .chm file IS in my SuperEdi program folder, but it won't open.

Thanks!

Re: Help files won't open

The help file was corrupt in version 3.2.9. This has been corrected in the new version 3.3. You will find it on the regular download page.

Thanks, Wolfgang. Version 3.3 is working perfectly. You're the best!

Re: Help files won't open

I'm having trouble opening things too. I can't even open system restore. I think it's from alot of corrupt programmes that have occured since I tried to download the new yahoo yesterday. I've tried booting into safe mode, but the open which you'd think would work (the list known configuration one just doesn't seem to make a difference. Some programmes on my desktop for instance don't appear to have their usual icons. The BT Broadband one looks like a sheet of paper with a corner turned up and a little box inside representing an opened window with red and turquoise blue little splodges. I don't know what this means at all. But I hope it can be easily fixed as I've only had this pc since the beginning of May (this year).
