SuperEdi and CD/DVD

Whenever opening a file on a DVD or CD SuperEdi throws the following error:
"The Parameter is incorrect"
Then when closing SuperEdi (which has no document in it) I am asked if I want to save "Untitled"
After saying "no" to the save, SuperEdi closes and then throws another error which windows picks up and makes the following log:
"The application, , generated an application error The error occurred on 08/25/2004 @ 18:17:30.812 The exception generated was c0000005 at address 0026E94F (<nosymbols>) "

Any ideas?

Oh I forgot to mention I'm on Win2k Pro SP4 here.

I can reproduce this problem on Windows 2000. It works fine on Windows XP.

How odd. Hrm, I guess it can't be helped then. Oh well, SuperEdi is still one of my favorite text editors by far.
