And I mean, you should chose Raduga, because the main goal for your activity is to run a radio station.

Actually, the sound card is not the only issue with hardware, in our radio we use many other hardware such a "relay card" to trigger another computer dedicated to ads.

Also the use of differents physical drives, (and extractible) is also adviced.

Mac is said to never crash, but it does sometimes, believe me. You should be able to fix it by yourself quickly when this happens

Actually it's possible, only you will have to install windows on mac
with bootcamp,(or worst, an emulator such as vmware)

I guess you will face a lot of problem with hardware : most Radio Station will need 2 soundcards, how will you do when the hardware is not upgradable ?

In my opinion, you should chose between Mac and Raduga.

we would like to use a miniplaylist in the event but it seems not possible to put inside the mini playlist an executable or a stop() event.

1.Seems 3.9.6 doesn't come with Log file function?

2.Line-in still not supported in Win7?

3.Always find the events window annoying coz I have to look from the very top down in order to find the right data, I'm sure it will be a lot easier to have a search bar.
Type in 14:00:00 or 2013-4-29, and the cursor jumps right to the point, press F3 to jump to the next result.

4.If using localization, the registry file provided is not working properly in Win7, coz it should be registered under

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\WoLoSoft\Raduga\Languages\]

not

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\WoLoSoft\Raduga\Languages\]

And it doesn't allow for overlapping/mixing tracks. Since Juke can use plugins, the ability to mix should be free too. Just nix the scheduling stuff, and the jingles section.

Plus I want to see it run on Wine or Odin. I hate having to be tied to Windows.

Dsound.dll Failed sometimes

At our Raduga station failed dsound.dll sometimes, after the fail, raduga exits.
What is going wrong?

Hello,

We need to purchase a new version of raduga for a new radio.
We are not really sure what version we will need to buy, but since we have a lot of programming around the software, we wonder if the developper version will be good for us ?
Also, in the comparative array for every different version, we can see that the "universal radio" edition has every features that the dev. version haves, only the dongle isn't included.

Is it the only difference between "universal radio" and "developer" edition ?
