64bit version

Hi Wolfgang. I absolutely love SuperEdi! It really makes my life easier when I'm dealing with massive files.

Any news about making the latest version have a 64bit binary too? I'm using 4.2.2 in the 64bit flavor currently.

I love superedi and have been using it for quite a time. As I am moving on to Ubuntu it would be nice to have a version for it.

The drop-down box contains the most recent search terms. You may just ignore the older ones if they are no longer relevant. Why do you want to Limit the number?

How to limit items in Find dropdown box?

Win 7 with SuperEdi 4.3.1U

When I click ctl-F to find text in Super edit, a dropdown box contains all the items I have searched for in the past. My dropdown contains 20+ items. How can I limit this to the last 10 items?

Thank you. Love your editor. It is now my primary text editor.

Also, thank you VERY much for the sorting routine. I frequently make a list of variable names in Perl comments, and have to sort them.

The menu "Tools/Preview Document" simply starts the default application that is associated with the file extension.

Yes, you can configure colors manually by editing the color files associated with the file type. See the SuperEdi help file for details:
http://www.wolosoft.com/en/superedi/help/colorscheme.html

If you have a language that is not yet supported by SuperEdi, you can create a syntax definition file.

Preview, quickstart bar

I dragged my Firefox icon to the quickstart bar (or at least what I think is the quickstart bar. The bar on the far right which has a single 'Explorer' icon) and it apparently replaced firefox.exe with something else so Firefox no longer worked; it just brought up a DOS box briefly, then disappeared. Did a System Restore to restore Firefox.

I see now TOOLS > "Preview Document" brings up Firefox.

Is there a way to manually configure syntax color?
