Source code released

The source code for CVSExt-1.4.6 is now available for download. It is written in C++ using ATL and therefore requires Microsoft Visual Studio .NET to compile.

Please submit bug reports and patches to this forum or e-mail me directly.

Re: Source code released

Hi

It fails to compile using VS.NET 2003

c:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2003\Vc7\atlmfc\include\atlcomcli.h(471): error C2787: 'IInputObjectSite' : no GUID has been associated with this object

c:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2003\Vc7\atlmfc\include\atlcomcli.h(495): error C2955: 'ATL::CComQIPtr' : use of class template requires template argument list

I might be missing something, please have that in mind ;-)

Re: Source code released

Actually I'm using VS.NET 2003 too. However, the Platform SKD version included in VS.NET does not associate some shell interfaces with a GUID. That's why I use the latest Platform SDK from MSDN.

Re: Source code released

So what can I do to re-compile the source ?
I would like to add the posibilty add a new module to CVS, and the possiblity to use VSS (I know..... but we use VSS at work ;-))

I know that TortosieCVS exists, but it have some problems with .cvsignore and is VERY slow

Re: Source code released

I've just registerd cvs-ext as a new project on sourceforge.net. I hope this will make it easier to maintain the code and keep the sources up-to-date. SourceForge also provides discussion boards, feuature and bug tracker etc..
I hope it will be complety set up in a few days. I will post a notification on this board when it's done.

Re: Source code released

I was thrilled at this extension. Great work. I wanted to look at the source code, but I can't access cvs because of firewall. Can you please either enable svn on sourceforge or send me the zipped source to krrdummy@gmail.com.

Thanks a lot,
Raghavendra
