*.jingle and rotations

I occassionally schedule a '(number).jingle' to play out at certain times during our playout schedule and this works fine.

I was playing about with it the other night and though I would try and schedule it to play a rotation file.

This works fine when I manually press the relevent Jingle number, where it will play 1 jingle from the rotation and works through however many tracks are in the rotation, however when it's scheduled to play (eg 2.jingle) then it doesn't work. All I get is the 'Cannot finde specified file' window and the system stops playing until the 'OK' button id pressed (despite Raduga being set to ignore all errors)

Is this something that can be done, or could be looked into in the next release?

Re: *.jingle and rotations

You can schedule the rotation file and let it play overlapped like a jingle. For example if you have a .rotation file like
S:\Rotations\Morning.rotation
simple add .jingle to the file name in the scheduler:
S:\Rotations\Morning.rotation.jingle
Do not actually rename the file! The "Test" button won't work, but it will work when the item is scheduled.

You can also add .jingle to items in the playlist to achieve a voice-over effect. Simply insert any sound file or even rotation using the Playlist|Insert Jingle... menu.
