Rotation within a Rotation

Hi,

I tried to schedule a rotation of items within a rotation but it would not work.

We run a ministry spot (they last about 1 minute in length) every half hour. At various times of the day different mini ministry programs will run.

For instance : "Way of the Master Minute" runs at 12:30 pm , then the next hour we run
OUr In-house ministry program" then the next hour we run "Lighten Up".. and so on.

Each is on a rotation ..for instance every day another "Way of the Master Minute" will air at 12:30 pm.

I thought what if I put on the tracks rtoations within a rotation then they would run on a more randon basis. ...

It didn't work... What can I do?

I don't want to plop them all in one rotation.. there's no way to control to make sure that one ministry doesn't run twice in two hours and I don't want to phsically go through the entire rotation list every time I add tracks to make sure one ministry doesn't run two or three hours in a row..

Is there some way I may attain my stated goal?

Your hlep is deeply appreciated. Joe

Re: Rotation within a Rotation

What we do here at christian radio 88.5 is:
Make a rotation of all the way of the master cuts, make a differant rotation of all the lighten up cuts, etc, then click on the clock and set up a schedule for the way of the master rotation to run at xx:xx then a separate schedule for lighten up for a differant hour, etc. If you want to add variety make two schedules for each rotation. M-W-F and Tu, Th, Sat. differant (odd/even) hours or even if you want them close in the same hour, one schedule first half of the hour and second for second half of hour.
If took us a long time to figure it all out.
