Traffic Software

Has anyone got any suggestions as to what traffic software I could use?

The last update was way back in 2004 which spoke about Traffic Manager as the only solution.

Is this the case? What are other people/Stations using for automated advert generation and billing

Thanks

Re: Traffic Software

Is there no one that use Traffic (Advert) software out there with Raduga?

Re: Traffic Software

Natural Log works with Raduga or you can also use AirList, sold by Raduga.net which schedules both music and spots.

Re: Traffic Software

Hi Bill

Many thanks for the suggestion of Natural Logs.

At $1295, this is more than double my budget.

I would consider Airlist and will demo it. However, as I use the mini playlist to schedule adverts, Will I still be able to do this with Airlist?

Will Airlist simply update the *.mpl file (i.e. add/remove adverts) in the Miniplay list as I use Station ID at top and tail of the MPL?

Thanks

Is anyone out there using any other traffic software?

Re: Traffic Software

Unfortunately AirLink does not use mpl's. You would need to schedule them using Raduga event scheduler. You can do this easily by scheduling each spot in each stopset, one second apart...

spot #1 10:22:01 AM
spot #2 10:22:02 AM
spot #3 10:22:03 AM
Sweep 10:22:04 AM

Optionally you can also schedule them in AirList within your playlists. We don't do it that way at our stations. We just use the Event Scheduler (above) which keeps the jocks from skipping them.

Hope this helps. BTW AirList is extremely powerful. The key is the anti-repeat features. If set properly AirList does an incredible job. For the money you can't beat it.
