"Live event" not working in WIN7

"Live event" not working in WIN7

Using 3.9.1 on Win7, live events kicks in, but when returning to playlist, the mixer channel for Raduga mutes itself. Dead silence after this... Configuration panel for "line-in" only shows two selections: (i) CD Audio (ii)Master Volume. There are no selection for any of the lines inputs as used to be the case on XP. Did anyone experience this?

Re: "Live event" not working in Win7

We have exactly the same problem with Raduga. Raduga has not been updated to the Windows 7 sound mixer APIs. Instead of muting the line-in when the "live event" happens, it mutes itself. Our Radio Station upgrade had to be rolled back when we discovered this fault. We are currently waiting for Raduga to be patched or updated so we can use the new equipment we purchased.

Re:

Is there a plan to make an updated Raduga that will work with Windows 7??

There hasnt been an upgrade for a long time and I have some suggestions that would be useful for future editions- how do I go about putting them forward for condsideration?

I'm working on the live events issue.
Has anyone tried if the live events do work with the XP mode of Windows 7?

Re: XP mode on WIN7

I am going to try this over the weekend, have to assemble a system to test this. Unless someone beats me to it... Mark, have you still got your server? Can you degrade it to XP?

Re:

The only way I found to degrade win7 to xp is to first if all get new validation code from MS, then delete the systems folder used by WIN7 and reload XP with new validation. Then its XP, not WIN7 - did not try it.
