Faster scheduling

Is there any quicker way to schedule promos than go through the process of the time consuming manual method of adding each event individually.
Also can the default dates in the scheduler be changed.
The problem is that each promo is played at different times daily.
Also where is the scheduling data stored. Is it an .ini file?
last question is why is Airlist cost three times more than Stationplaylist charge for the same product?

Re: Faster scheduling

Keven,
The schedule is in the .ini file. You can manipulate this file with a text editor, allowing you to make fast changes if you use a decent text editor.

Re: Faster scheduling

Here is a problem, locating the appropriate ini file. Cannot find any that relates to Raduga or Wolosoft.
I do have hide system files etc unchecked. Any ideas on the ini files full name and location?
Using both Vista and Win 7

Re: Faster scheduling

Keven, the files are called event.ini - you can do a search on your PC to locate an existing file, could be in /windows/system32 . The other way is to first of all create a folder on your drive, and call it raduga-events for example. Nect open the event windows in Raduga and click save. You can then navigate to the folder you just created and save the new file event.ini there. You can have as many as you want doing differnt things, event1, event 2 etc. You can edit these files with a tect editor. And you can load a event schedule by clicking LOAD and select the event file you want.

Re: Faster scheduling

Must have had a duh moment. Of course there was no ini file 'cause I hadn't created an event.
Now to plunge into the world of writing scripts of find some that have already been written by other Raduga users. Not the world's most proficient VB or JS scripter here.
Maybe the forum can set up something where other's scripts can be exchanged.

Re: Faster scheduling

I have a script to allow insertion of a number of "promo" every hours 24/7, write to me privately, I will pass it along.
Cheers
