start different playlist on given time

Is it possible to play one playlist in the evening, another at night and automaticly start another playlist at daytime for example?
I could use three mini playlists and schedule it in the "events", but does a mini playlist behave like a normal one? I mean does the mini playlist also overlapp the tracks like I set it in the normal one and is the fading periode behavior the same?
Other problem is that when I use miniplaylists I'd like to schedule jingles in it which it not possible because I am allready playing an event.

Re: start different playlist on given time

You can schedule a playlist by using the event scheduler. It will fire off .alb files, or any file for that matter.

Re: start different playlist on given time

But I want to schedule a playlist that is using events.
A playlist that is already in an event can't play events?

A playlist does not use events. The Master Playlist and scheduled events operate separately and independently. You can use any playlist with the events you currently have scheduled

Re: start different playlist on given time

If I understand correctly I can make 3 seperate playlists (.alb files). For every playlist I can set their own events (like jingles to be played).
These 3 playlists (.alb files) can be added to the event scheduler.
This way each playlist starts at the time I set them and they also wil play there own events?

No. Once again, the playlists and scheduled events work independently. Scheduled events are not tied to playlists and vise-versa. Playlists do not have "Their Own Events".

Re: start different playlist on given time

ok. This would be a nice feature then?
Because it would be nice to play a different playlist (music) at night then at daytime for example.
The only thing that has to be done is that it's possible to automaticly open a different "events.ini" for each playlist.

Thank you....

Re: start different playlist on given time

That's possible too. You may add an events.ini file to the scheduler and it will replace all scheduled events with a new set of events. Similary, schedule a jingles.ini file to replace the jingle set on schedule.

To do all this at once, you may create a playlist "afternoon.alb" starting with the 2 items "afternoon-events.ini" and "afternoon-jingles.ini" to replace the playlist,n evnes and jingles at the same time.
