Fading

For future editions of Raduga it would be really good if there could be perhaps a button on the keyboard (e.g. 'n') that when pushed would immediatly begin the next event in the playlist, regardless of their crossfade settings. This would be really great with triple overlap!

Thanks

Re: Fading

You can already do this. Just press the "N" key on the keyboard or joystick button no. 3 to launch the next track immediately.

Can you please explain how this should work with triple overlap?

Re: Fading

I tried using the "N" Key...but when I push it it simply fades the current track down and movies to the next track, but doesnt actually launch it?

I'm not sure how to make it work, but triple overlap would just be really good for things such as voice tracking. I know we can already do triple overlaps by creating the MPL's, but it would be great to be able to have triple overlap on the main playlist. It would also help with sweepers etc between songs.

Re: Fading

Would someone be able to tell me why it is when I push the 'N' key it simply fades the current track down, but doesn't launch the next one?

Thank you

Re: Fading

Maybe you are using the "Manual" player mode? In this mode new tracks don't start automatically. Try to use another player mode, for example "Normal".
