Ok,
I use raduga in the production studio before I send ads and songs over to the on air studio. I add tones (timing ~ things at the end of songs) and also edit the tighten the beginning of the file and the clean up the fade. I then test how "tight" the songs and ads start and end and how well the work with the sweepers. If I need to "trim" the front or backside of a file, I use these products called MP3 trim and Wav Trim. available at http://www.logiccell.com/~mp3trim/

I think that this should be built into a production room verion of Raduga somehow or you should offer these programs. They are great tools to edit ads and songs before you put them on the air. I believe they are freeware.

July 19th, 2003 WavTrim is an automatic WAV file cleaner.

It useful to clean-up WAV files:
when you extract a track from an Audio-CD (CD ripping).
before making MP3s (MP3 encoding).
before burning Audio-CDs.
I originally made WavTrim because I noticed that, each time I extracted a song from an Audio-CD, I didn't get a clean track (I was getting a little bit of the end of the previous track, or of the beginning of the next track). I used to trim each track by hand using a WAV editor prior to MP3 encoding, but that was tedious.

So I worked on WavTrim, which grew up in a multi-purpose WAV cleaner:

It scans and cleans WAV files, removing 'digital' silence and any left over of another track.
It optionally normalizes (i.e. changes the volume to use the full 16-bits dynamic - that can help to get tracks from different sources sound similar).
It can batch-process several WAV files at once.
