setting overlap for intros

How can I make songs that have a "big opening" play without overlap? I have Raduga in fully auto mode set on 3 seconds overlap but find that the songs with a strong vocals or a big instrumental intro cut into the jingle/ad/voiceover.

You can set the overlap time for individual tracks by renaming the sound files with a tilde. For example "Song~0.5.mp3" operlaps only 0.5 seconds.

I use the tilde for the fade out - does this mean the intro is the same duration ie. if a song has a sudden end and I name it song~0.mp3 does this mean that the beginning is also 0 seconds and not a 3 second (for example) overlap?

The tilde only specifies the overlap time at the end of the file. You cannot specify the overlap from the beginning.
