IE6: Remove "Edit with SuperEdi" option

In Internet Explorer 6 SP1 (Windows 2000 SP4) is there a way to remove the annoying and too long "Edit with SuperEdi Text Editor" option in "File" menu?

Re: IE6: Remove

Uninstall WoLoSoft SuperEdi from the Add or Remove Programs control panel. Then re-install it without the option "Windows Shell Integration".

Re: IE6: Remove

That doesn't work for me. Is there a Windows registry line I could edit?

Re: IE6: Remove

Deleting the following registry branch should help:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\*\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers\SuperEdi

Re: IE6: Remove

That branch doesn't exist for me in the registry, but still the option "Edit with SuperEdi Text Editor" exists in IE6. I might need to clean up my registry...

Re: IE6: Remove

Sorry, I thought you were talking about the context menu.

To change the HTML editor:
- go to the menu "Tools/Internet Options..." (in IE)
- select the "Programs" tab
- choose your preferred HTML editor
