You can insert pre-defined portions of text using the Tools|Clips menu. Clips are stored as files in the clip directory, which can be specified in the Tools|Folders dialog. Sub directories will appear as sub menus.
The following macros may be used within the clip files to create clips with dynamic content:

Date and time formats are specified in the Regional Options control panel applet.
