I downloaded a demo version to test the remote start feature to see if this will work with my system. i made the cable, checked it. and it doesn't work? has anyone used this feature. are there tricks to it?
Did you install the joystick driver? Go to Control Panel, Game controllers, ADD, and select 2-Axis, 2-button joystick. Then reboot. And don't forget the resisters in the D connector to fool the computer into thinking a joystick is attached. If you need help with the resisters, let me know and we'll send you a diagram. Cheers
I Did, I followed instructions from the manual.pins 3-8 10K res. pins 6-8 10K. 1-4 start, 4-7 stop. I used 10K resistors. when i set it up in the control pannel i do get a light that will blink when i test the off button. Button #2 will light in proprties.nothing on button #1. Sometimes Raduga will stop a song. never more than 2 times. it won't start a song. Back to the control panel.when testing and touching pins 1-4 an error message comes up and say that my "game controller is not connected correctly. Please verify that it is plugged into your computer"????
Well so far I tried the 10K resistors the 47K resistors and swapping the wires around and I can't get it to work fully?? I can get it to stop Once. and sometimes I can get it to start once? i won't work everytime. I'm using a Creative soundblaster sound card, the game port on that card.
