icecast2 add-in

Greetings
Is it possible to send a metadata (song title,artist) to remote icecast2 server? I was trying to use this free add-in but it didn't work. I'm using simplecast to transmit stream onto icecast2. Shoutcast/icecast2 are so popular why raduga don't support them in natural way?

The Icecast2 add-in only works for MP3 streams. If you are using OGG streaming, there is another add-in available for registerd Raduga users.
