AirLink

I am interested! Can one TX be used with two RX's?
The application is one studio to two remote transmitters.

Thanks,

RS

Re: AirLink

I am interested in using airlink as a back-up STL for KWPA. I would like to try the demo. (1) Do you provide software for both TX and RX? (2) Can airling run in the same machine as an automation system (say yours!)and how do you make the connection internally?

Thanks,

RS

Re: AirLink

Yes, I provide both the TX & RX. AirLink CAN run on the same machine as the automation. Select the audio on the Windows Recording Mixer. Whichever bus you have selected is the audio that AirLink will use.

To order go to http://www.raduga.net

Demos download are also available there as well.

Re: AirLink

Is there a latentcy delay between studio and Transmitter site using Broadband? I find that if i use Windows Media Encoder or simplecast, there can be delays between 1 minute and as much as 20 minutes!

Also, can Airlink be used on dialup connection too? i.e. if we want to do a O.B. and only have a Cell phone available?

Thanks

Re: AirLink

There is a typical delay for anywhere from 5 seconds to 20 seconds.

AirLink can be used on Dialup however, your TX encode bitrate would probably have to be between 8kb-16kb.

Re: AirLink

I have trialed AirLink and are very impressed. Is there anyway Bill that the buffer /delay time can be reduced? Currently I have noticed that the delay is around 6 seconds. When encoding 48kbps / 44.1khz.
