Raduga/Live 365 problem

Hello there, I'm hoping that someone can help me with a problem I'm experiencing. I've signed up with Live 365 as a broadcaster and am attempting to use Raduga 3.5 in conjunction with the Studio 365 Live 2.1 software. It seems that everything is in order, but when I follow the instructions and start the broadcast - I get no sound whatsoever. The link between my computer and the Live 365 server is established because my station appears in the Live 365 listings as "now broadcasting" but also says "no track information is available." If someone clicks on a stream, I get the indication that they are tuned in, but still nothing is heard.

There is not extensive troubleshooting info regarding Live 365 in the help files - can anyone provide any info as to what the problem might be?

Thank you,

Re: Raduga/Live 365 problem

At first you must configure the Studio 365 Live software so that it broadcasts all sound that your computer will make. Setting the Audio Source to "External Source | Mixer" should do the trick. You can test this with any audio application, for instance Windows Media Player.

Once Studio 365 Live is configured properly, start up Raduga and select the menu "Tools | Enable Live 365 Upload". From now on, your listeners should see which track is playing in Raduga.

Re: Raduga/Live 365 problem

Please follow the broadcaster's instructions on the Live365 web site. First try to broadcast a live source via line-in (with Raduga). Once that works, switch the audio source to "External Source | Mixer". Now you should hear the sound of Raduga or any other audio application. Note that your soundcard must be full-duplex, i.e. it can record and playback at the same time and it can record it's own output.

If you still get no sound, contact live365 support. I can't help you, because I don't have a broadcaster account anymore.

Re: Raduga/Live 365 problem

Do you have Studio365-Live 2.1 (or higher) installed?
Please download Studio365-Live 2.3 from
http://www.live365.com/downloads/index.live

The Live 365 feature was broken in Raduga version 3.8. If you have this version, please update to version 3.8.5.
