Can you schedule an event(audio file) without the file extension?

ex.
[Event 0]
FileName=Men_at_work
StartDate=2006-3-22 16:15:25
ExpireDate=2099-12-31 0:00:00
WeekDayMask=127
HourDayMask=16777215
Exact=0

or does it need the file extension(.mp3) to be able to read it?
