DROPPING A SCHEDULED EVENT

CAN ANY OF FOLKS SHED SOME LIGHT ON THIS. I HAVE SCEDULED EVENTS TO RUN EVERY HOUR. I WANT TO START SCEDULING HOUR LONG SPECIALIST PROGRAMMES IN THE NEAR FUTURE. DO I NEED TO REWRITE THE EVENTS FILE AND RESCHEDULE THESE EVENTS NOT TO APPEAR DURING THE SPECIALIST SHOW (IF I LEAVE THEM IN THEN THEY WILL RUN AFTER THE SHOW AND THIS SOUNDS NONSENSE) - QUESTION - CAN I FORCE RADUGA TO DROP AN EVENT WITHIN MINUTES IF IT DOES NOT OCCUR AT THE SCHEDULED TIME?

ANY HELP - GREATLY APPRECIATED.

Re: DROPPING A SCHEDULED EVENT

Hi Gerry:
Perhaps it's a good idea to have multiple events.ini files.I.e. events01.ini, events02.ini and so on.
You can make as many as you want, and load them manually or schedule them to load at your convenience.
I hope it helps!

Re: Dropping a scheduled event

This problem will be addressed in Raduga 3.9. In the Options/Scheduler dialog there is the option to skip events that are overdue for XXX minutes.

Re: DROPPING A SCHEDULED EVENT

Sorry for caps in last posting. I wasn't paying enough attention. If you want to hear our station here is the link - http://www.radiolimerickone.com

it is an all irish station if you fancy that kind of thing.
