intro scan not playing mpg2 video files

intro scan plays mpg1 (vcd videos) well and as expected in an active movie window but does not play mpg2 movies. the movies are same resolution as vcds but audio is encoded at pal dvd standard. the mpg2 movies play in ordinary play mode but not in intro scan mode. i am using demo version 3.6. any suggestions

Can you tell me where I can download such a file or how I can produce one myself?

mpg2 files - they tend to run to 30=40 meg but i could 'cut a piece off of say 1 meg and email it to you' the files are avi files converted to mpg using 'MainConcept MPEG Encoder' set up for pal mpg2 frame rate 25 size 352 by 288 audio 48k 16 bit stereo

reinstalled all codec on my machine and program works really well. thanks for such quick help and suggestion wolfgang - rholden
