With this new version SuperEdi will even better intergrate with the Windows user interface. New features include:
- Manual file syntax selection (Menu Format/File Type) - Windows Exporer-style menu and toolbar with chevrons - Windows 2000/XP-style file dialogs - File icons in menus File/Recent Files and Window - Automatic synchronization of the explorer tree
This beta version requires Windows 2000 or Windows XP. Caution: it is recommended that you disable the installation option "Add to Explorer context menu".
This is an old problem that I've posted before. But it's also in 3.1.7, after a fresh install.
The file type configuration, the 'File Extension' and 'Syntax' settings for JavaScript are not correct. They are incorrectly set to "VBS" and "VBScript".
Thank you! So far, 3.1.7 has been working very nicely.
The only other suggestion I have is to configure some default toolbar locations during install. All the toolbars start out compacted in one band. I fear that it's kind of non-inuitive for a beginer type user.
Is there anything in particular you would like to have tested?
